We observe, imitate, and learn from others (consciously and unconsciously). This is how we develop values, attitudes and behaviors. It starts with our parents, and then it extends to the society around us. This process may slow down with the time, but it accompanies us in our whole life. We are modeled by others, whether by necessity, or by inspiration. Mimetic forces drive us, and we constantly face ourselves contemplating our individual identity.
